Coalition on Transparency and Anti-Corruption is established in Tajikistan with the OSCE support

The first meeting of the Coalition of Civil Society Organizations of Tajikistan on Transparency and Anti-Corruption was celebrated on 10 April 2019. Representatives from civil society organizations held a meeting at the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe to formally establish the Coalition and set up a strategy, decide the priorities and a three-year action plan.

The aim of the Coalition is to tackle corruption in co-operation with the specialized government agencies and other relevant stakeholders. The Coalition has been established as a vehicle to reinforce the National Anti-corruption Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2013-2020 through the conduction of awareness raining campaigns, training courses for public officials and relevant stake holders and anti-corruption risk assessments.

The OSCE Programme Office is supporting the initiative by providing technical and administrative support to the Coalition.
